UNOCHA Ethiopia Visited EHF-funded project in Aba’ala Woreda

Mr. Paul UNOCHA Ethiopia Head of Office and Rosalind Head of EHF, along with Mr. Mohammed, Head of Semera Sub-office, visited our EHF-funded project in Aba’ala Woreda, Miraeyle Kebele on July 31, 2024. During their visit, they toured the Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) constructed under this project by UEWCA and engaged in discussions with women who have benefited from the intervention. Additionally, a brief meeting was held between the guests and government stakeholders, including the Woreda administrator, to discuss the project’s impact on the community and the way forward. The project, titled “Multi-Sectoral Emergency Response for Conflict-Affected Returnees in Aba’ala Woreda,” is being implemented in collaboration with three local and one international sub-implementing partner: Nexus, PHE-E, UEWCA, and HPA. These partners are responsible for responding to needs in Education, Nutrition, Protection, and Health, respectively. ASDEPO leads the project and is implementing responses in Agriculture, Multi-Purpose Cash (MPC), and Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items (ES/NFI). #EHF #ASDEPO #PHE-E #Nexus #UEWCA #HPA
