On the 12th of November 2022, ASDEPO has successfully launched CP-GBV project funded by UNICEF at Ruftana Hotel in Semera town. The project will be implemented in 2 Zones and eight woredas of Afar region, Ethiopia. Participants from different government offices in the region have attended the workshop. They have come from different government sectors and eight project woredas including attorney office, BoWCA & BoFED, representatives of regional signatory bureaus and representative of UNICEF from the have attended the meeting.

ASDEPO’s regional coordinator Mr. Abdu has made a welcome and opening speech for the invited guests from different woredas and followed by overall detail presentation about ASDEPO’s organizational profile and summary of the new project by Dr. Birhanu ASDEPO’s Head office program coordinator.
The event continued with discussion by participants and ASDEPO staffs about the effectiveness & smooth implementation of the project. Finally consensus has reached to conduct close follow up and tri-partite monitoring of the project with the donor (UNICEF), ASDEPO and Government Signatory bodies.
